Rethink Mental Illness - An Update: Denbies 13th April

Support for carers of people with Mental Health concerns

In light of the end of the delivery of support by Rethink Mental Illness to carers in Surrey on 31st March 2015, it has been necessary to commission new arrangements swiftly.

A meeting has been arranged for carers to discuss this with Surrey County Council’s Carers Strategy and Development Manager, John Bangs on Monday 13th April 10am to 12pm in the Ranmore Suite at Denbies Vineyard, Dorking.

This event is an opportunity for carers to hear about the recent changes to Rethink and comment on support you think should be available in future.

Any expenses you may have to enable you to attend - travel and/or alternative care - will be reimbursed and claim forms will be available on the day. There is plenty of free parking available at the venue.

If you need any assistance with transport or have any specific access requirements
(eg a hearing loop) please let us know as soon as you can on the email or telephone number below

If you wish to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing
info@actionforcarers.org.uk or telephone Action for Carers on 01483 302748.

If you are unable to attend but have a question about these changes, please email John Bangs directly as the Commissioner John.Bangs@surreycc.gov.uk
