The Surrey CCG Collaborative is delighted to receive the news that they have been shortlisted for the second year running for the prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) award in the CCG commissioning for Carers category.
This is a significant achievement and endorses our partnership approach to Carers is recognised at a national level.
Jamie Gault, Chief Executive Officer, Action for Carers Surrey, said: “Following on from the team's success at the HSJ 2015 awards, to be shortlisted again this year illustrates the value of partnership working and validates the path we continue to pursue to improve outcomes for Surrey's Carers.
“We have continued to build on our partnership model over the past year realising the essence of the Care Act and the Children and Families Act. As a result, we have supported 28,243 Carers and we have seen a significant increase, 28 per cent, in the number of Carers we have reached and supported.”
