ACS launches new Relaxation booklet

Caring is one of the toughest jobs there is – possibly the most – as it’s constant, relentless and for many 24/7.

That’s why it’s so important, whenever possible, to carve out just a little bit of time for your OWN wellbeing. Just five minutes of calm and focus on you and how you’re feeling each day, can make a big difference and help you keep on caring.

That’s why we’ve created a new booklet, ‘Relaxation for Carers’.

A tool to aid relaxation

The booklet is full of practical exercises, most centred around breathing and mindfulness, to help you destress, calm down and improve how you feel.

The booklet is free to unpaid carers registered with us. To order your printed copy, please call 0303 040 1234, option 1, or email [email protected] requesting your copy.

You can also access the booklet online

You may notice the cat theme, which we hope gives the booklet a little extra something! We all know cats are the kings of relaxation!
