SaBP Mental Health Carers Forum Discussion Meeting Addlestone
Join us, Surrey and Borders Partnership and Healthwatch if you are a carer for someone with mental ill health to discuss their SaBP's plans for a new Carer Forum.
Mental Health Carers Forum – Surrey and Borders
Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SaBP) want to do more for unpaid carers who support someone receiving mental health care from SaBP inpatient & community services.
They plan to set up a Carer Forum, to enable carers to share their views and get support.
They want to know how YOU think the Forum should work and what it might cover, and invite you to a meeting at our Camberley Hub to input your thoughts. It takes place Tuesday 26th November at High Cross Church, Camberley. (NB there is an additional meeting taking place in Addlestone, on Wednesday 27th, more here.)
The overall aim of the Forum will be influence how the hospital works with/support carers. Should this be done as a formal meeting, or a social meeting. How would you like to share your views and experiences? Should the Forum also maybe have special speakers, or a social benefit? When and how often should it meet?
If you’d like to share your views on the new Forum (at this stage only if the person you care for has used inpatient services), please join SaBP, Action for Carers and Healthwatch( Luminus) at our event held at Camberley Hub.
