Unpaid carers given essential worker status
Unpaid carers have been added to the key worker list making them eligible for COVID-19 testing
The government have updated the list of keyworkers to include unpaid carers making them eligible for coronavirus testing. The list of essential workers was updated on 4th May to include unpaid carers for the first time.

Access to the local testing centres in Chessington, Gatwick and Twickenham has been available to key workers for the past couple of weeks and a new local testing centre site is opening in Guildford this week. To date, approximately 1500 key workers have been through this process.
