Anxiety and stress management: a workshop
Marya Hicks and Cathy Clifton are Clinical Psychologists with the Community Mental Health Recovery Service, Surrey Heath.
Join us for a workshop focusing on skills that can help manage stress. We will learn about what stress is, how we recognise it in ourselves and what strategies we can use to help manage stress and calm our soothing system.
- What is stress, and how we might know that we’re feeling stressed.
- What we currently do to manage stress.
- Exploring stressful situations and how to respond differently.
A chance to learn skills to manage stress; we’ll be practising them in the session, including mindfulness exercises and relaxation imagery.
