Carers’ Fair: The Hive, Guildford

It’s Carers’ Rights Day on 25th November, a chance to raise awareness of unpaid carers and their rights to support, so we’re holding a week of special events, and Carers’ Fairs across the county.

Come along to our Carers’ Fair at The Hive, Guildford to meet ACS staff and find out how we can help you as a carer, plus a range of other charities and local organisations. You’ll be able to ask questions – practical, financial and legal – about your caring role, as well as get general support, advice and information. We’ll also have some relaxation and wellbeing sessions on offer. The hairdresser salon will be open, and carers will get a special discount at the Honeypot Cafe (get your discount card at the fair). We’re delighted that the fair will be opened by the Mayor of  Guildford, Marsha Moseley.

Meet our teams supporting carers of all ages (including young carers), plus national Warmth Matters, Surrey Fire Service and many more.

If you’re a professional, join us to find out how we can work together to support carers.

The Hive is in Park Barn Drive (just behind Kings College Guildford) and used to be known as the Park Barn Centre. There is free parking or you can use bus routes 1, 4, 5, 17 to get there.

No need to book; just come along, but do get in touch if you have any queries beforehand.
