Carers’ Fair: Harlequin Theatre, Redhill
It’s Carers’ Rights Day on 25th November, a chance to raise awareness of unpaid carers and their rights to support, so we’re holding a week of special events, and Carers’ Fairs across the county.
Come along to our Carers’ Fair at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill to meet ACS staff and find out how we can help you as a carer, plus a range of other charities and local organisations. You’ll be able to ask questions – practical, financial and legal – about your caring role, as well as get general support, advice and information. We’ll also have some relaxation and wellbeing sessions on offer, and refreshments will be available from the theatre’s cafe. We’re delighted that the fair will be opened by the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor Jill Bray.
Meet our teams supporting carers of all ages (including young carers), plus the Action for Carers, the National Autistic Society, Brigitte Trust, St Catherine’s Hospice, Mole Valley Life, the Centre for Psychology, Sight for Surrey, Surrey Fire & Rescue Service, National Energy Action (warm homes advice), and more.
If you’re a professional, join us to find out how we can work together to support carers.
No need to book; just come along, but do get in touch if you have any queries beforehand.
There will also be fairs at Leatherhead (24th), Woking (26th) and Guildford (27th).
