This session at our Addlestone Hub is looking at the process around EHCPs - what they are, how they can help children and young people with SEND, and how to go through the process, including appeals.

EHCPs

Do you think your child would benefit from having an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan), or do you want to understand how to navigate the process of getting one (including appeals) – then come to our session.

An Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) describes your child’s special educational needs and disability (SEND) and the help they will get to meet those needs. These plans are for children and young people up to the age of 25 who have special educational needs, and also include any health and social care provision that is needed.

This free event at our Addlestone Hub is looking at EHCPs, looking at whether your child would benefit, and advising you on the process and how best to go through it. We’ll also talk about when and how you might appeal at a Tribunal if you think your child should have one.
