Volunteer - GP Support
Volunteering within your local area, at times to suit you, you will visit local GPs surgeries and check that information about caring and our services are up-to-date and visible.
You will:

- Check the contents of the folder to ensure it is relevant and up to date.
- Replace any folders which are damaged or missing.

Due to the nature of the role, the volunteer should have access to own car. We are particularly looking for volunteers who can visit GPS surgeries in the Elmbridge, Esher, Thames Ditton, Walton-On-Thames, Woking and West Byfleet areas.
In return, Action for Carers will provide you with a warm welcome and induction, training opportunities, regular ‘check ins’ with our Sessional and Volunteer Coordinator and agreed expenses including mileage.
For more information, please contact our Sessional and Volunteer Coordinator by emailing [email protected] or to apply, fill in the Volunteer Application Form enclosed in the Volunteer Application Pack.
