Azets climb Snowden

A huge thank you to accountants Azets. A very plucky and tough team climbed Snowden last weekend on behalf of ACS, raising funds for young carers.

Group of people standing in the rain at the bottom of Mount Snowden in front of large sign post.

They are delighted to have surpassed their fundraising target, making it to the top (and surviving the descent) despite extreme weather conditions.

They journeyed early to Wales, and were already there when a weather warning was published – of rain all morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon!

Azet’s Katie says: “Despite this, it was a great day and a real sense of achievement was had by all – especially after the panic when we realised that the last part of the climb was rock climbing on our hands and knees and it was so slippery due to the hours of rain prior. I don’t think we would have all faced our fears and made it up if we had not been doing it to raise money for such a brilliant charity!”

Huge thanks to them all for such an amazing achievement.

The money raised will help us help even more young carers in need across Surrey.
